    Ran-D

    Passionate, dedicated, perfectionist

As an artist Ran-D represents his crowd in more that one way: he comes from their ranks. Starting as a visitor on the same events as where he now performs in front of them. And he shares their enthusiasm, knowing exactly what they need and to go beyond that, topping everyone’s expectations. Respect for his fans is something that grows from within; a deeper understanding what hardstyle truly is about. “I share the same passion for music as my audience, that is what drives me.”

That specific emotion Ran-D gives to tracks comes from his own voice and mind. Not only does he write every single line of text, he eventually sings every word. With love for edits, small details in a track, this guy takes great care of his productions. “I set high standards for myself, so it is a challenge to improve yourself and to come up with a unique product every time, I’m really a perfectionist.” A good sound designer creates unique and original sounds, that’s what makes Ran-D’s tracks distinctive to the public. Ran-D ´s impressive list of performances is an enumeration of major hardstyle events. To name a few: Qlimax, Hard Bass, Defqon.1 Festival, Decibel Outdoor Festival, Thrillogy, Reverze, Q-BASE, X-Qlusive and The Qontinent. At the first two events, he even got involved as a partner in crime with Gunz For Hire.

Living for the moment, making dreams come true

Imagine, one of your first gigs, and you get surprised by the fact that your vinyl bag is missing. For Randy, this turned out to be a real blessing in disguise. After one telephone call for recovery, his bag appeared to be located with the Special Records label owner, which resulted in a precious gift: Ran-D’s first release. Not much later, one of his tracks reached his greatest hero: DJ Zatox. Out of Zatox’ enthusiasm, Ran-D got another release, this one even got supported by the Alpha² and the hero himself. Shortly afterwards, Mr. Ran-D got invited to release tracks at A² Records. Only two releases later we arrive at one of the finest moments in Randy’s life: a call from Q-dance with the request to perform at Qountdown. After years of home-based table turning and producing, his own room got exchanged for a loaded Heineken Music Hall: a dream came true. Music became increasingly important and a hobby evolved into a serious career, with more than a decade of experience.

    Davoodi

Since starting a career as a DJ, Davoodi has developed into a versatile player in the dance music scene. Many are charmed by his wide range of skills, as he smoothly blends a variety of music styles together to produce his unique sound. His unusual mixing tactics made him a quick favorite amongst the Belgian party crowds, earning him several club residencies, including ones at Cherry Moon and Complex, affording him the opportunity to play at major European festivals like Tomorrowland, Decibel, Defqon, Reverze, Laundry Day, Summerfestival and Sunrise Festival.

To add to his versatility, Davoodi picked up producing in 2007, releasing a series of EP’s since. In January 2011, he founded “Crunk’D Records”, his own record label through which he released his first album, “King Kong.” The success of the album allowed him the opportunity to remix several big internationally acclaimed dance songs. 2014 has marked a milestone in Davoodi’s musical career with the release of his second album, “The End”. Followed up quickly by the release of his “Booty Bang EP” on the Los Angeles based record label Mad Decent, introducing a fresh mixture of hard dance and trapstyle. Only a couple weeks later Diplo & Davoodi released their track “Badman”.

His tracks have received support by the likes of Diplo, Major Lazer, Afrojack, Chuckie, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Crookers, Flosstradamus, …to name a few.

    Akyra

    <
    akyra

Stephen van Nijnatten, also known as “Akyra”, was born on the 22nd of October, with a passion for music.

At the age of 16 , the young Belgian artist started developing his career by playing at local parties and festivals under the name of “Bass System”. His love for the music didn’t came from a stranger, his own father was also a DJ once.

In 2012, he went solo as “Akyra” and joined the Noize Junky label of Mark with a K.j

For a few years, he was a resident DJ in Highstreet together with Mark with a K. But his real breakthrough was due to a place on the CD of MWAK Forever Young for his very first track, called “Anger”. He could also show his skills at the MWAK Forever Young party, that was the moment when it all started.

In 2013 a big dream came true... He had the opportunity to do a collab with Mark With a K. The track is named "Rise" and is featured on the The Next Level CD of MWAK. And his latest track, which is almost finished, is a collab with the famous MC Villian. Their track will be released very soon.

Now he is spinning his records at all different kind of parties and festivals: Reverze, The Qontinent, Sunset Festival, Sunrise Festival, MWAK Forever Young, Replay Festival, Bassleader,…

He has even started going international: Pussylounge (The Netherlands) , MR New Project Zaragoza (Spain), Decibel (The Netherlands).

    “Where words fail, music speaks”

    Remento

rementoRemento, a project started by two friends Siem Gevers and Tom van Loon in September 2012. Just like other dj’s, they want to break through the hard dance scene and the two youngsters try to do this by making an unique style of tek with some feeling in it. In the beginning of 2013, they have managed to complete several ‘to-do-things’ by signing at Noize Junky (label from MWAK) and by performing at gigs such as The Qontinent, Sunrise Festival, Mark with a K the next level, ...

Almost every day, they are working hard in their studios, so you better watch out for these youngsters!

    Bassfighterz

At the beginning of their highschool career, Steven & Raf met eachother at the end of 2009. As classmates, they noticed really quickly they shared a big love for Hardstyle.

Raf was already trying to produce his own tracks back then. After a workshop producing he did in 2010, he bought his first decks. Pretty soon he was asked to perform at some local parties, but also at I Love 2 Party 2010. Also Steven followed pretty soon and bought some DJ-material. They decided to team up together. The Bassfighterz were born!

Things went pretty well, as they got to play at a lot of events in 2011, including Nocturnal at Highstreet, for Homebase Entertainment.

In 2012 they got the chance to play at even more great parties like Infected & Homebase XXL at Noxx, I Love 2 Party and Bassment. But the best event of last year was to become a part of the 'Structure Agency Family'!

The great atmosphere during their sets, the response of the crowd, this is what drives them to work even harder on their own tracks, their sound and their sets!

We want to thank all the organisations, people who helped us, and of course our fans, for the trust, the belief and all the awesome nights we already had!

    Erazer

erazerHe was still a little boy, when he began to play his first instruments. When he got older, he never quit making music, only the instruments changed. And so, on the age of 14, he got infected by the harddance music. He kept listening to it while he also kept making music himself. On the age of 15 the infection of harddance became more specified. He realised that Hardstyle was absoluty the style that he loved most. The adrenaline that the kicks were giving him, the energy and atmosphere of vocals and melodies within the music really got him into it. Also he always wanted to be on stage, it always has been a dream. And so he decided to chase that dream. First he started to work on his performance as a DJ but soon he exchanged the instruments he was playing for making electronic music. And so, on the age of 19, Erazer was born. A highly motivated, energized and dedicated hardstyle act began to make his way up...

    His goals are:

    • to please the crowd
    • to destroy the speakers
    • and last but not least, to have fun behind the decks.

    Crushz

crushzCrushz, aka Mieszko Patyk, was born in Poland. Already at a young age he was interested in making music. Moving to Belgium being a big step in his musical taste. From nursery rhymes to electronic dance music. Aged 12 he started messing around with music development programs. Also he started DJ'ing which nowadays goes hand in hand with being a producer.

At the age of 15 he started playing at local parties and festivals. Quickly becoming a household name in the local area. Known for his uplifting and energetic performances, he now sets his sights on a bigger audience.

The love for the music and the connection between the dj, giving it all on stage, and the crowd, leaving it all on the dance floor. That’s how magic is done. Doing this, while still creating his own sound in the scene. He’s one of the upcoming talents you really need to look out for.
